“The Bachelor: Vietnam” released the official trailer of its highly-anticipated first season on Tuesday.

The show airs after six months of preparation and nearly two months of filming, according to local outlet Kênh 14.

The trailer reveals The Bachelor Nguyễn Quốc Trung and 24 contestants vying to win his love.

Nguyễn, 33, is a managing director of a furniture company that exports products to France. He holds a master’s degree in marketing from Lund University in Sweden.

While he has lived overseas for many years, he always considered Vietnam as the place to settle down.

“I’m extremely happy to be selected as the first bachelor,” he said in an interview. “I never thought of looking for a lover before.”

Nguyễn, who admitted to not speaking Vietnamese fluently, likes women who communicate and cook well, Zing News reported.

“Prior to this show, I never thought of finding love. I never thought I would find the right girl in 30 days,” he said.

The trailer, which runs for two-and-a-half minutes, shows Nguyễn and the contestants holding dates and overcoming challenges in different locations.

The show also follows the traditional “roses ceremony,” with Nguyễn handing out roses to women he wants to continue dating.

“I don’t know why. The first time our eyes met, I knew for sure he’s the type of man I’ve been searching for,” a contestant says.

“The Bachelor: Vietnam” airs 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 at HTV7.

The show is licensed by Warner Bros. and jointly produced by Happy Canvas Film, Multimedia JSC, Big Cat Entertainment and Fusion3Media.
